PLS HELP ME

Hello Sir/Madam,

PLS HELP ME OUT..

I had used a couple of credit cards until 2008.Later I had gone for settlement with ICICI, Barclays and Deutsche Bank. I had collected a No Objection and No due letter from the respective banks and on the letters, it is mentioned that "Payment towards full & final settlement". Inspite of me having those letters, but still Iam not able to apply for a new credit card now.(Humans learn from their mistakes, isnt it??)

I guess my name is listed on CIBIL defaulters list.

Pls tell me what i will have to do to get the name out of the defaulter list.
