I had been using CITIbank Credit cards -- way back till 2005 after which i had gone in for a settlement of the cards for which they gave me a letter. As per that i had paid to the collection agencies and i made my last payment in 2006 FEB.

After that from May onwards i never received any statements or any intimations from the bank & now all of a sudden from Octbober 2009 i receive calls from the DSA that my card was not settled and my outstanding has become a huge sum. Then the DSA told me a payment of 5000 rupees would take care of my settlement which i did not adhere to. So phone calls keep coming from several nos and names and also my family has been mentally harrased over phone calls to my residence no.

How could the bank wait for 4 yrs to realise that my account is unsettled. Also i have decided to go to court against Citibank in this regard. What do you suggest.
