Hi,

I have a Suvidha A/C with Citibank since September '07, it was a salary account, i left my previous company in January and didn't make any transactions in the account since February I've joined a new company and want to get that A/C transferred to the payroll entity of my present company. However, the bank representatives would not accept my driving license as an ID proof; as per the bank representative who was very rude, " We don't accept driving licenses as ID proof due to bank policies especially if it has been issued by U.P govt." I've requested them to give this statement to me in print but they are not ready to do so. I am very upset as I am unable to deposit my salary cheque and I've got bills to pay. Please help me.
