Black listed as defaulter for no reason

Dear Sir,

By a proper prodedure I had clsed my Citi Bank Card around 1995-1996. Now after 15 years when i wanted to be a guaranteer to my sond'loanto SBI, the bank got my name under black list by Citi bank. The Citi Bank when asked says to give some no. either SBI report or Old credit card no. Both of which I dont have.

To remove my name from the list what should I do? Pl. guide.
