Fine being penalised unnecessarily

Dear Sir,

My card no. is 4346 7860 0006 1654. I have been using HDFC card for the past 3 years. During the 3 years, I was in Assam. Now we have shifted to Delhi. During our shifting there was a Credit card statement of 22000rs. due. So through some relatives we paid the amount in your collection box on the last day as per the statement. But the payment was in cheque. Just this month we have come to know that an amount of 2000rs. has been penalised on us since that month. Moreover all your communications have been going to Assam. We were totally unaware about this.

Sir, I request you to consider our issue and wave the fine put on the bill. It seems our credit card has been deactivated so none of the call center people are ready to register our complaint.
