Wrongful debit from ICICI SB account against wrongful credit card transaction

In my ICICI SB account was wrongfully debitted against credit card transaction (misused one). On receipt of the statement, I immediately infomrmed the bank and the details as to which merchant had done the transaction illegally. The bank did not take any steps and after several complaints and follow ups, they only chose to debit the relevant amount from savings account. Please guide us accordingly.
