Defaulter List

Sir/ Mam,

I would like to inform that, I was using 2 - 3 credit card of various bank three years a go, but when i came to know that the rate of interest charged by the banker was very high. I went for settlement & I paid some amount and finaly got a settliment letter from the bank. But recently, when I applied for credit card, my application was rejected & I came to know that my name was found in defaulter list of CIBIL.

I would like to make sure wheather my name is in defaulter list of CIBIL and if so? I seek you advice to get my name out of defaulter list.
