Debit Card Lost and Misused for Shopping of Rs. 15, 900

Dear Sir/Mam,

On 15th July at around 7:30 PM, I withdraw Rs. - from HDFC Bank ATM at Noida Sec 18 Metro station. And I got metro and come back to my home at Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-59. At 9:20 PM, I got a message from ICICI Bank that I made a debit card purchase of Rs. 15, 900/- from JUMBO ELECTRONICS. I checked my ATM/ Debit Card but it was not there. so I just called ICICI Bank customer care and got the card blocked at the same moment. The customer care executive told me that it will take around 25 working days to resolve the issue and if we found it fraud, my amount will be refunded. I already, lodged the FIR regarding the incident and sent the application and related documents to the ICICI bank Recon Team in Mumbai.

I am sure that the shopping was made at JUMBO ELECTRONICS, NOIDA (Great India Place Mall). Since I searched on internet and found only one JUMBO ELECTRONICS Shop in Noida. Request the concerned to please resolve the issue soon.

I am also very disappointed with the ICICI Bank Debit card Security policy that any one can Sweep the card and shop with any PIN, which is not there in other banks such as SBI. Also request the concerned to please take a note of this also.
