Non receipt of PF funds even after 1 year and 5 months

Dear EPFO office Pune,

I wish to state that I had left my last organization on 1st april and subsequently requested for closure of my PF account and settle my amounts. But it has been 1 year and 5 months now and the amount has still not been transferred to my account.

I even launched a grievance online. (Registration no: ROPUN/E/07550) a month back and this too has not been addressed.

I received a mail confirming the details of my online grievance with a contact person's name: Mr. S.K.Thakur in the EPF office, pune but every attempt of contacting the person or the EPF office is vain. The phone rings everyday from morning till evening and there is no one to answer the same. It seems that the phone lines are not even connected to the handsets, the rings are false.

I really want to know, does a person need to roam like a stray dog, for such a long time (1 year and 5 months) for just requesting people to get his/her EPF refunds. Is this government so IRRESPONSIBLE towards people? So why are we paying taxes every year to keep this Government running?

This is unacceptable and shameful.
