Wrong CIBIL Entry and harassment

We took a loan from Family Credit's Agra Office in 2008 wide Loan No.248172. We paid full & final amount of Rs.26000 on 29/4 and obtained a receipt of the amount from your Agra Office, and also N.O.C from your office, wide ref.no. FC/2WH/AGRA BRANCH/248172 dated May 08. However, during a recent loan application to bank, we were informed that FAMILY CREDIT has entered our name wrongly into CIBIL for outstanding amount of Rs. 2522/-. We approached Family Credit Head Office at Kolkata, but, to our surprise, no help was rendered to us. Moreover, we are being asked to submit a copy of CIBIL report which is causing a lot of harassment.

Family Credit - we have a NOC from your organisation and you have wrongly entered our name into CIBIL, you have access to CIBIL as an NBFC, as an individual we do not have access to CIBIL.

In case this issue is not resolved at the earliest, we will not hesitate from taking legal action against Family Credit for this unnecessary harassment and runaround given to us claiming compensation from them.
