Federal Bank of India- Housing Loan
Even without loan disbursement the Bank is presenting ECS of the EMI

Hi,

My name is Pradeepto. I had applied for a Housing loan from Federal Bank in Bangalore (Residency road Branch). After the process of all verification the loan was approved and I went ahead with the documentation process in the bank. But just before the Registration of the property, I had found out that there was some fraud in the property and hence the registration didnot happen. I was pushed by the bank to go ahead with the deal, which I refused and also I informed the sales Officer working on my loan that I am not interested. I was informed that the DD made for the loan was cancelled and I asked them for refund of my documents and processing fee. This was in the month of November.

To my shock, in January the bank has presented an ECS of the EMI and deducted from my account. I am in absolute loss and would need someone to help me over here. I called the bank, but seems everybody was on meeting for the whole day today. The disbursement didnt happen, registration didnt happen... I dont know have they submitted the ECS for. Pls help me.
