Interest not paid by Punjab & Sind Bank

I Rachna Tomar R/o H-123, Sector-12, Block-H, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad (U.P.) 201009 Fixed deposited an amount of Rs. 45000.00 (Forty Five Thousand Only) on date 18.06.2008 for the 14 months in Punjab & Sind Bank, H/8, Sector-12, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad (U.P.) 201009 F.D. No. 690732 Interest rate 9.15% this F.D. matured on 18.08.2009 with a maturity value Rs. 50001.00 only. After maturity date this F.D. should be renewed automatically as stated in rule no. 3 printed on back side of F.D.

Neither this F.D. was renewed nor I was informed by the bank about the matter. I requested the bank to encash this F.D. on 15.09.2010 and bank issued me a cheque No. 933749 amount Rs. 50001.00 only. Without paying interest amount for the period 18.08.2009 to 15.09.2010

On 1.10. I registered the complaint to Bank Manager, Punjab & Sind Bank, that bank shall pay the interest amount for the period 18.09.2010 to till the date of settlement of the matter.

But, Bank refuse to pay the interest amount for the above mention period.

I hope the concerned authority look in to the matte
