Miscommunication on EMI Scheme

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am holding a credit card (5239511106734013) with ICICI bank. I received a call from ICICI Bank customer care that an EMI scheme is applicable on my card till 31st of July and I can avail that. I did a shopping on 28th July and called customer care to change that amount to EMI option. The customer care executive told me the processing fee and EMI for six months and assured me that it will be converted. But after seeing my e statement and the monthly statement I received, that shopping amount was not converted to EMI. After calling the bank they are telling me that they are helpless and they have withdrawn the scheme on 28th itself and I will have to pay the whole amount. I approached the senior members of the bank but they all are forcing me to pay the whole amount and clearly stated that inspite of being their mistake they cannot do anything. I told them that I will be taking the help of consumer forum they were fine with that also. I dont know, highlighting the complaint on this site would help me or not, but if seriously this site is monitored by any authorized person I would humbly request to take an action against these types of frauds by the companies so that the should atleast value their customers. I have the record of people, (Meeta, Chetan, Usha Rani) involved in this case so if you require to follow-up I am always there.
These types of companies or banks feel that the customers cannot do anything and they can do whatever they want. Right now they are feeling that what exactly a single consumer can do against them and they will not be affected by this small incidence. Please suggest me what necessary actions can be taken against this fraud.
