False Statement against Card No:4346 7710 0885 1207

I bought an item of Rs.1709/- as on 15/8/09 and against that a payment of Rs.2300/- was made on 6/1/10.The most surprising part is that they still demand a sum of Rs.3651.06 as on date 8/6/10. Twice i did mail them but instead of solving this problem they are going on forwarding statement after statement. Please suggest what should i do in this case...
