Non Issuance of Credit Card

I applied for a credit card from my company salary a/c as the persons who came to the office said they would offer us platinum credit card... but after all the approvals and verification the card was not yet delivered. and when called HDFC bank they said they declined the card... no reason why... then they are saying that i have to apply for a new card and i will get a card which is on auto-debit facility... or else my request will be rejected.now its been 4 months but nothing has been done... i kept a track with senior HDFC credit card division but nothing helped... now they are not even replying to my e-mail... is this the kind of service HDFC Bank provides to its customers...
