Incomplete information/Harrassing calls/No empathy!!!

This is the most disgusting experience of my life. I have an auto loan running from HDFC bank and started getting calls last week from a DST in Paharganj number 01145702348 for ECS bounce charges.
The person calling claims to be a Branch Head who can't draft a single sentence. He has no knowledge of the outstanding and keeps asking for cheques of different amounts.
Initially a lady called me and got a cheque of Rs 429 picked from my residence. Later I was told I have to pay Rs 947 more without confirming months of delayed payment. As far as my knowledge goes there was only one bounce in July since I was shifting my residence and couldn't deposit cash in my account.
When I asked him to confirm the correct amount and whether he was calling directly from the bank he started abusing and has been harassing me with constant calls. I have lodged a complaint with consumer forum and wanted to let you know too what kind of partners the bank has tied up with.
To my shock and horror a lady called Sandhya Nair writes to me in reply to an email i wrote for the complaint stating that they are VERY SURE they follow protocalls for calling customers. here's the email she wrote:
Dear Ms. Sood,
Thank you for writing to us.
This is with reference to your e-mail dated September 18.
The total amount overdue in your account is Rs.492.00.
We request you to submit a cheque for the above overdue amount in favor of HDFC Bank Ltd Loan Account No. at any of the nearby Retail Asset Branch.
To find your nearest Retail Asset Branch, please visit www.hdfcbank.com and select Retail Loan Service Centre from the drop down menu under the banner 'Find your nearest'.
In case you are unable to visit the branch in person, you may submit the same through courier or post to any of our Retail Loan Service Centres with attention to the Operations Manager.
As regards the calls/visits by Collection Agents, these are as per our process of investigation/ recovery of overdues. Our Agents operate under strict guidelines on the tone and tenor of interaction with Clients and you are requested to provide specific details, if any, of the alleged misbehavior. In any case, the inconveniences to you in the matter are sincerely regretted.
As you are aware, EMIs are set at the time of disbursal itself and no interim change or suspension / postponements etc are allowed. Furthermore, delay in realization of EMIs also leads to accrual of charges relating to EMI bounce / delayed repayment.
Going forward, kindly ensure that the residual overdues, if any, are cleared without any further delay and installments are paid on the respective due dates. This will help avoid such problems in future.

the funny thing is after harrassing a customer through two days, she has the audactiy of asking for more "references" for new customers!!! DISGUSTING! their senior management doesnt seem to be bothered to reply either!
