Complaint Re: deduction of Income Tax at source of FD interest by your Dombivili Br

I submitted the Form 15G on 24th March (No.1212516) and obtained acknowledgment thereon by the Bank. Despite giving the above tax form, HDFC Dombivli Branch have deducted the TDS of Rs.1565/64. Despite my repeated requests to reverse the entry and credit the amount to my account, they have not done so far. I am a retired pensioner from a private firm (on closing their branch in Mumbai) and my last drawn salary was Rs.9400/- in 2007. I am not filing tax returns as I am not coming within the perview of Tax laws to file returns.

Please therefore arrange with the Branch concerned to credit my S/B account no: 1751380000800 – Customer ID 21935475.
