Unusual charges on savings bank

Sub:

1. Number of transactions in a Savings Account is restricted to 100 transactions per half year

2. Max withdrawal from non account holding HDFC branch is 50000. Any additonal withdrawl is charges Rs150 Rs 3 per every additional 1000

3. Cash deposit into non account holder's account charged Rs 100

It is completely ridiculous that HDFC has set such kind of restrictions. I own a salary account in Bangalore and 15-16 transactions a month is too less. I use far more than 50 transactions a month. I have tried asking my relationship manager what the implications and charges are for additional charges and she has no idea what this is about.

It is time that HDFC starts looking at what their customers need. I am seriously planning to move to another bank for my salary account and encouraging my colleagues to abandon such a bank.
