UNSOCIAL BEHAVIOUR OF STAFFS

I have a salary account with HDFC ban, home branch bangalore. In bangalore they were providing every service smoothly. But when i went to noida office of hdfc bank for change in my mailing address they started to teach me law. Every time they were asking for a new document. I told him if they want to veryfy that i am geniune owner of this account or not they they can ask question and veryfiy my signature as per their record. But they dont agree on that. so i went with original driving license. Again they told me dat they need original Pan card or passport. For change in mailing address is so much verification is required?? If required then at the time of account opening why dint they even cheak the document.??? They only take the photocopies of docs and dont even allow us to fill the form. They say that they will do the rest for us. Then why do they need so much verification at the time of Change in mailing address???
