HDFC Personnel loan

Hi,

I am a HDFC bank personnel loan customer. I paid 12 EMIs. Unfortunately, my last month EMI got delayed for 10 days. The bank executives called my old company employees and colleagues and told them I am not making the EMI payment of the HDFC bank

I resigned from the company 2 years back and i dont have much contact with that people. I had given my home landline number. instead of calling my old colleagues they should have called in my home number right?

However they charged me 450 rs for NEFT bounce and 12% as late penalty charges. Can I take any action against the bank for making black mark on my name?
