Non clearance of MCD cheque from Hdfc bank

Hi,

I have deposited a cheque to pay my MCD property tax for fy 10-11 through cheque no:192053 at kalkaji branch of hdfc bank. I have contacted the branch 2-3 times to get this checked but each time they tell me that you will get a call from the head office in few days and they didnt turn up anytime.

On submitting an application to the branch on 26th of may, today I.E 30th of may I got a call from the branch that the cheque was missed and you need to submitt the same again. However the 31st march deadline has already passed so I cannot resubmitt the same. It can now only be deposited a due with next year tax.

However they are still trying to locate the cheque but request if you can please help me to get this sorted out as I have been harrased due to this and still my problem is not solved. I have to take leaves due to this.
