Dear sir,

WeI have been given classsic account from HDFC bank M.G.Road branch depositing more than 1 lakh balance amount, saying that this classic account will be devoid of most of the service charges of private sector banking including debit card issue, credit card issue, credit card annual fee, internet banking, thrid party transfer etc etc. But as and when we joined and started transactions, they used to charge nominal fee for third party tranfers, and its irregular too. Some times they will deduct, sometimes only for some members of the group only, etc etc, just like there is no policy. When I talked to the Personal banker, he said, they have revised it by june and will be chargable. But there is no information supplied to us regrading this. Moreover, even after june, some third party transactions were free of service charge, from some group memebrs. So there is no standard rule for the bank?..or from where I would get reliable informations regarding HDFC?.
