Towards interest & other additional charges

Dear Sir,

I am using HDFC card for the last 9 years and if you check my payment track record, you can find that I never have any outstandings. My current issue started almost 1 and half years back, when I was on tour, my wife cleared the bill, keeing an amount of 750/- as outstanding by oversight which was cleared after that. Imagine this has come to a total outstanding as 17695/- were the bank has taken the same amount from my savings account with out any prior information.

Infact I approached the bank through several mails & personal visits and talking to customer care to get a clear picture of the amout due and told them that I am ready to pay a nominal penalty & need to clear off everything..All the main heads sits in Kochin office knows about this and they never gave me a solution. WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU...

I still doubt there is an incentive given to the Managers depending upon the total outstanding that is squeesed from the poor card holders...
