Agent for HDFC home loan.

While negotiating against competitors promised a complete refund of processing

fee after loan was sanctioned and 1st installment disbursed. This is a bold faced lie. After he got my business he has not paid up and keeps coming up with excuses.

He also tried to slip in a form with changed interest rates at one point during the processing and when I caught him on it, he claimed he brought an outdated form and will provide a current one with agreed interest rates next day. The new form never came and it turned out was never needed. when I went to sign the final papers. I believe he was just trying to slip a fast one by, in case I didn’t notice.

Overall experience with HDFC is positive so far, but this agent although knowledgeable is dishonest.
