EMI not deducted since July'11

I had taken a Home loan from HDFC Ltd, Ghaziabad Branch. The bank has not deducted its EMI since July'11. I had talked in this respect to customer care and the branch also. They were of the openion that ECS system has not been activated, though I had already submitted all the documents in this respect before disbursement of the loan. Now the amount outstanding is for two months and they may also charged interest for late payment, though the fault is of the bank.
