Foreclosuer Charges

Dear Team,

I had a Personal Loan 5 months before from HDFC @18 p/a. Now i want to foreclosure this and asked for the formalities form HDFC Support. I have already paid 5 EMI Dues including intrest. Now they are aksing for 12 Months interest and 4% Closure charges.

I am ready to pay the Current Priciple 4% closure charges. Why i need to bear the upcoming 6 months intrest.

Is there any RBI rules for this?

Kindly advice... i want to close this in Feb.2011
