Hdfc salary a/c
Charges applied without prior notice

Dear Sir,

I have a salary a/c i.e zero balance with HDFC. As I have left my previous job no salaries where credited in the said a/c. In the mean time bank without any notice or any communication had converted the salary a/c to savings a/c. As I was not aware of the same and my a/c balance was below the average minimum balance required for savings a/c, bank had deducted penalty/ charges of Rs.750 from my a/c.

Please guide me, isn`t is the bank duty to inform or send some notice before directly deducting the charges. What should i do for getting back my money.
