URGENT- ATM Pin Misplaced by branch - JAWALAPURI (New Delhi)

Hi Sir,
Just to inform you i had applied for re-issue of new ATM dated on 24th Aug and i got new ATM dated on 04th Sept at my home address after that i went to my Branch JAWALAPURI (New Delhi) for collecting my pin but branch is saying that your PIN has been misplaced or assign to some other person by mistake (Register entry no- 40). According to CC my card has been dispatch to branch dated on 26th Aug (Mail ID- EA846795975IN).
I had already discussed this matter with Branch Manager - Ashok Kumar, and CRM and they told me that either you can re-apply for new ATM card or wait for 15 day than only we can re-generate new PIN for you,
My concern is that why should i apply for new ATM card and why should i wait for 15 day while this mistake happen by SBI (Jawalapuri Branch). As per the security concern SBI always send PIN to the branch instead of home address, but what happened in this case, being a brand image company how SBI people can misplaced or assign my PIN to any other person. This is the audit concern also.
So requesting you kindly look in to the matter and provide me solution ASAP.
