Non Issuance of PF Number, Form-16

Sir,

I worked at HINDUSTAN INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION LIMITED (HICCL) from 21/07 to 31/05 for MCD Multi-level Car Parking Construction Project as Billing Engineer. The work was sublet by M/S C&C to HICCL on back to back basis. The project was related to Delhi Commonwealth Games.

After steep objection by principal employer, ie, MCD, for SLOW PROGRESS, the main contractor (C&C) finally took over from HICCL. The entire Site staff was also taken on its payroll by C&C in the month of May'11. Now, that it's more than two months after leaving the payroll of HICCL, even today the PF a/c number is NOT BEING GRANTED by it, although DEDUCTION FROM SALARY was regularly made for the said period. Moreover, FORM-16 & other FULL & FINAL SETTLEMENT are also PENDING on HICCL''s part.

Can a construction operating from the soil of Delhi COMMIT SUCH GRAVE CRIMES, without FEARING THE CONSEQUENCES?

After several FAILED REMINDERS to HICCL, this BOLD STEP is being taken for the betterment of employees IN GENERAL.
