I have taken a home loan from IDBI Homefinance Ltd. bank and now transfering it to another bank. For preclosure of Home loan my existing bank is charging me with the interest for whole of the month of April even though today it is just 7th of April besides the preclosure amount as stated by them till 31st march. My last EMI date was 31st march 10 and EMI has been cleared. Please advice that whether it is justified and within the RBI Guidline to charge the interest / EMI upto 30th April even though it is just 7th of April.
