Charging More Interest Rate (Floating)

REFERENCE: HOUSING LOAN ACCOUNT NUMBER -588789408.

It is submitted that I posted a query on this web portal for consumer complaint on 19 June.

The issue was AFTER TWO MONTHS, ON THE ON 6TH JUNE, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM HDFC LTD. INFORMING ME THAT THE INTEREST RATE FOR YOUR LOAN AT PRESENT IS 11.5% EFFECTIVE FROM 01-APR-12. The repayment tenure of your loan has stretched beyond the normal term of a loan. WE REQUEST YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION IN THIS REGARD. One of the following actions from your side is recommended: Alter the EMI from Rs 8587/- to Rs 10, 031/- OR Consider a part prepayment of the principal of Rs 1, 27, 000/- for 190 _ months, keeping the EMI amount same OR Combination of options 1 & 2 depending upon your convenience.

On 20 June I received a phone call from 91 120 2723116 of HDFC Ltd Brach Ghaziabad at around 11.45 AM. The HDFC Ltd. a female officer on line shouted me and argued that I have signed loan application for the high floating interest at the beginning. I requested her please convert my home loan in floating interest rate from the beginning in place of two options, fixed for two years and floating for subsequent years. But she refused and threatened me to write against my query to the concerned and to me.

Now, I request to the concerned authority, please see in to the case, and respond my query “Why HDFC Ltd. can not convert my Home Loan interest rate from fixed to floating from the beginning?
