Credit Card Annual fee statement sent on expired card

Sir

The validity of this card had expired in year 2010 and we have cleared the all earlier statements already before it. So on what basis did HSBC send us the statement of Rs. 2247?

There is no proper contact id or phone number.

We don't even know the card no. of our expired credit card which I crushed and threw away after expiration & clearing of all previous statements.
