HSBC Classic Credit Card
PENALTY ON LATE PAYMENT

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am HSBC customer for the last 7-8 years and hold credit cards (Master and VISA). For major transactions within India as well as abroad, I prefer to use HSBC cards. I always keep track of my purchases and payments.

I had received a bill of RS.19, 143.23 against my card VISA Card ending with 2356. Due to official commitments, I paid 2 days late. Since you have realized the money after the due date, in my current statement you have levied Rs.1552.35 as late payment charges and other charges.

Looking to my long association with HSBC and regular in payments in all my past transactions, I would be glad if you can reverse the imposed late payment charge and other charges including taxes of Rs.1552.35. The last date for payment is given as 16th January.
