Settlement of Credit Card

This is in reference my Credit Card no. 4476921201719204.

I have requested for a consideration for settling the dues in the month of October and received HSBC letter reference no. RSCPDNWOFFNDHHDMHORIZON-4 13112009 1684 dated November 13 regarding the Full and Final Settlement of account with respect to the card / credit facility as mentioned above in an amount of Rs. 32, 995.74/-.

Now I have make the payment in full, but after getting my last cheque cleared, the collection team told that the settlement was void and I have to pay Rs. 76, 000/- more to get a NOC / Zero balance statement.

When contacted to the customer care of the bank, they also repeat the same words, and tell not to call them as nothing can be done but to pay the whole amount. Now no one is agree to listen after giving the full payment.
