HSBC credit card harassment even after settlement over phone

Hi,

I had a call 3 months back from HSBC for 24000 rs due to be paid over a credit card on my name.

They started calling me weekly and started harassing me on phone, i asked and mailed them to show the transactions and due amount.

To my surprice they gave me bills of the credit card that i had already settled in 2006.

My last transaction was of 1056 rs in Jan- feb.

My June - july bill came as 2461.62 (1056 late feesof few months).

I had paid full Rs 2461.62 and settled on phone.

Now, as i see from their mail, they have added all service charges and all to that card and summed upto 24000 rs.

I am daily harassed for this payment and told that i will not be able to get any other loans from any other banks.

Please help me as what i need to do.

They are totally cheating me.
