HSBC no system ofrecords

I had cancelled my credit card from HSBC on July. The bank officer in Gariahat Branch kolkata stamped my application with CArd destroyed and later I received letter from HSBC confirming the cancellation. In April HSBC sent anuual fee notice to my home. When I call their call center they inform me that the card is still active in their system. Are they stupid?? Now I am wasting my time telling them they can confirmed to me that the card is cancelled. Great Job HSBC hope someone reads these posts and never gets credit card from your bank ever!!!
