Wrong cibil informstion

I had applied for a personal loan at HDFC bank, where in came to know my cibil rating is low because ICICI bank has shown write off on my credit crad. Infact, I have paid all the dues & cancelled my credit card. I have with me mail sent by ICICI bank customer care as proof of closure of my credit card & clearance of all my dues. I was shocked to see organization like ICICI bank behaving such irresponsibly. How can my cibil rating shall be improved...? please suggest. I can even submit proof to this effect.
