ICICI Bank - Useless bank, poor service, zero co-ordination

I would recommend people to close their account with ICICI Bank. These rotten thieves will take your account and disable your access to it and further stop you from withdrawing the money. Listen to this story and tell me whether they are a bank or thief.

my wife has an account with ICICI Bank Indiranagar branch. We have had this account for over many years, we did not operate this account for sometime and the debit/atm card was also expired. Below is the exercise we went through and still going through it:

- Requested an atm card inlieu of expired one at the bank, told to call the phone helpline

- Call the helpline, were informed that account is in inactive state, please deposit amount in bank to activate it, Bank can also issue atm card.

- Went to bank again argued over depositing and withdrew instead to activate it, we were told to call helpline again to get atm card and that they can't provide it

- Finally talked to helpline again got the card and pin dispactched

- Received pin card courier

- Debit card never came called helpline, they said talk to courier

- Courier service says the card was not accepted at the address on mentioned date and time (unfortunately for these morons it was a date and time that both me and my wife were at home)

- Courier service says talk to ICICI helpline because the card was rejected at given address

- ICICI bank helpline says talk to courier service.

- Spent last two days only calling both the moronic agencies.

- Waiting to close all relationships with ICICI.

Enough said

If you value your money and time don't go to ICICI Bank for anything. If at all you want to go its as good as throwing the money to thieves who won't let you touch your own money.
