Credit Card Nightmares

I had a Credit Card with ICICI Bank ending with 8002. Because of some serious family problems could not make the payment and it had been piled up to 85K. Last year I opened a bank savings a/c with ICICI bank but they were unable to deliver the debit card from the last one year so I din't deposit any money to that account. So after getting the Debit card once I deposited around 12K in the a/c after a week suddenly a/c goes block because of the nonpayment of the credit card so I called up for settlement but after a week without even informing me they took the entire amount from my a/c. I am not sure whether they have legal rights to do so or not. Please help.
