Refund of money

Hello,

My ICICI bank savings account is unused for last tow months. Last week on 29.11.2010 due to urgency i deposited a sum of rs. 5000 to that account. When i tryed to withdraw that money, the message i got from bank is your account is blocked and you cannot withdraw the money. For withdrwal i have to close my account. So on same day i close my account but till date i have not recieved my money. After that when i do enquiry with bank they are telling that they will send me DD, but when the don't know.

Now my question is if my account is blocked then why ICICI bank allow me to deposit that amount to my account. And when i will get that amount.???
