ICICI Bank
DL not taken as proof

I have icici bank salary account, but last many months salary not transfered, but i put the balance in account because i know that it convert in saving account, and it happens,

and bank freeze my account, then i went to bank for summiting the id .i gave the pan card and DL.bank took the pan card and DL return to me. and they said uttar pradesh DL is not valid id proof.

so i want to only confirmation from the bank why they did not take the id proof of uttar pradesh.
