Housing Loan Document Damaged

My housing loan LBCAL00000935618 got paid last month. Since then I have been trying to find out what to do next by calling Customer Care.
When I finally figured out on my own, I was shocked to see the state in which my original deed was in. The deed has been totally mutiliated and damaged by the 2005 flood. However, the great customer friendly ICICI Bank did not have the scruples to let me know earlier. The bank staff were not at all co-operative and I am really left thinking that I made a huge blunder in selecting ICICI for all my banking needs. I am definitely going to take some actions but just wanted to make others aware of the similar fate.
