Respected Sir,

Sub: Complaints against ICICI BANK Credit Card Department in respect of Banking Ombudsman Scheme.

Ref : - Credit Card No. 4477-4653-4737, ICICI Bank EMI Card.

This has refer to my captioned subject, please note that :-

Sir, I have issued two cheques bearing no. 428999 dated 03/08 & no. 429005 dated 03/09 in favour of ICICI Bank Credit Card Department regarding outstanding bill dated 17/07 & 17/08 of Rs.0.10 ps. & 0.50 ps.

But, I am surprised when they have confirmed through ‘SMS’ and ‘Bill’ that the both cheques had been dishonored by my Banker STATE BANK OF INDIA, R.N. Mukherjee Road, Branch, Kolkata – 700 001 resulting that so many charges and interest debited from my Credit Card A/c as well as Credit Card loan A/c. Therefore I contact with ‘ICICI Bank Credit Card Department’ through Tele-Banking & E-Mail Services for confirming the reason for cheque return and also done a request for reversal the cheque return and other charges but they refuse to take the request for reversal the above charges and regarding reason for cheque return they told me ‘You will contact to your banker for know the reason for cheque return’. Therefore I made another request to Credit Card Department that ‘please return my the both original return cheque’ but they send only xerox copy of the same.

Therefore I verify my S/B A/c. Pass Book and learn that there was no reflection of any cheque return and not debited any bank charges for that reason so I do contact with my banker and written a request letter for knowing “What is the status of the both cheque”. Therefore the Branch Manager of State Bank of India confirmed me dated 24/12 by written that “Your two cheques for Rs.0.10 Ps. & 0.50 Ps. Dated 03/08 & 03/09 have neither produced to our branch and neither those have been dishonored by us”. I am enclosing herewith the xerox copy of the “Banker Certificate” for your ready reference.

I am also enclosing the ‘Credit card statement for relevant period’, ‘Xerox copy of return cheque’, ‘Xerox copy of Bank statement for relevant period’ and ‘Copy of the all all E-Mail corresponding with ICICI Bank Credit Card Department”.

Please note that Sir, I have lost lot of money also my goodwill for that case therefore My request to you that please take a request for appropriate action against ICICI Bank Credit Card department and also make a order for giving the reasonable compensation for that reason.
