Rs 25000/-Suspense/since 19.2.7/ICICI

I had issued a cheque no. 449897from my savings account no. 000701507596 on 19.02.07 for a sum of Rs 25000/-. Though the proceeds were debited from my savings A/c but the corresponding proceeds were not credited to the Metro housing Society's account.

This was revealed when I asked for refund from Housing Society. When Society informed that the credit against cheque no. 449897 has not been received than I asked for a certificate of transaction from ICICI Bank. After repeated follow up I was informed that the corresponding credit is lying in suspense account so no certificate can be given to me.

I asked for a refund of Rs 25000/- from ICICI along with the Fd interest. This interest is being denied to me along with Rs 25000/-. May I request for your kind intervention in this regard.
