Locking of my credit card

I ave rcvd SMS 04 feb 10 asking me to pay the credit card balance for the crad no: XXXXX xxxx XXXX 4004. i do not possess this card now, since it was blocked and de-activated in the year after ICICI HAD UPGRADED ME TO GOLD CUSTOMER and issued a NEW CARD with a different number.

so i spoke to the customer care who said it was a mistake and the expenses were incurred on the newcard only and i can ignore the SMS.(i believe card no: xxxx... 4004 is still held by the credit card dept.as the primary card, on my name which i am NOT aware till now.

on 08 feb 10 ICICI had blocked my card for non payment of rs.350/, though i was not at fault and never ever defaulted in the last 5yrs. how can they BLOCK MY CARD LIKE THIS?
