Intrest charges

I had to pay Credit card payment of 15, 449 for month of July. However, While paying, somehow I was under the impression that I had to pay 15, 300 and made that payment 10 days before due date. However when I received the next Month CC statement, it said intrest of late payment as INR 890 .

On enquiring, I found that that done calculated intrest on 15, 449 and that is riduculous! for payment of 149 remaining I had to pay payment of 890.

Customer Service tried to explain me that it is mentioned in terms & Conditions. I mean I have been a customer of ICICI since 2002 and since then I never defaulted on payment and all payment on time. And this ICICI Bank is Loot Bazaar.
