Auto Debit

I had a outstanding of 23, 000 on my credit card for which, as per my statement 23 Feb was the due date. I made the entire payment of rs 23, 000 on 23 Feb morning at 08:30 am. However since auto debut was activated on my card, the bank sent the auto debit instructions on my account. Since the account didn't had any balance in the same the auto debit was returned. Now the banks has charged me the penalty charges of 313.00 rs for non payment of auto debit.

When i spoke with the bank guy named Manjo Kumar he said that they are not aware of the transactions that happens on the Website and I should have had personally gone to branch to tell them to stop my Auto debit. Now the question what i have is how can abank sent Auto debit intructions if the balance on Card is Zero and what do i need to do to resolve this.
