I am friend of Mr. Pravin Chavan, whose one leg has been amputed and another one is totally disabled after acciden in April. He was in hospital for around 6 to 7 months. He has taken policy from ICICI pru with disability and premium waiver rider. His insurance premium was due on 9th September. According to the term of company, he gets 1 month time after due date to pay the premium. but on 27th septmeber 2010 he submitted all the documents to the company. Now company claims they are not able to settle claim because insurance policy is lapsed.
Anybody, please advise.
