Insurance premium charged for home loan without notice

We took a home loan from IDBI bank 4 months back realized that the bank had used up part of the loan sanctioned towards insurance without informing us. We have been writing to IDBI bank since february in this regard and requesting them to cancel the insurance and pay the builder the balance amount. They are hardly bothered and do not even respond to n number of emails sent to them.
