Un authroised construction

Dear Sir,

I am Jyothi from Old washermenpet, Chennai.

My neighbour's building, which is an unauthroised construction, having 3 floors and 7 side set back balconies. The balconies are abutting our compound wall.

There is no space between their balcony and our compound wall. The building was constructed in 1993. We are experiancing sever nuisance for the past 18 years which includes throwing brandy bottles on our roof, cigrattes, and other solid objects. Apart from these, teasing ladies, spitting, shouting are also happening. Already we gave the complaint to corporation and CMDA. In the CMDA inquiry, it is said that my neighbours didn't submit the plan. Corporation has said that the ordinance issued in 2007 is protecting the unauthorised contruction. Our problem is not the building. We are concerned only about the balconies and the nuisance caused by it. We are mentally harassed by the nuisance created by them. We want to remove that 7 balconies facing at our property. We are not against the building. we just want to remove the balconies.

Please advice.
